Caramelised Banana Porridge
Nothing beats a bowl of porridge on a cool winter's morning...especially when topped with sweet caramelised bananas!
1 1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp coconut oil
Pinch of sea salt
Step 1: Place the Six-Grain Porridge, milk, cinnamon and vanilla extract into a saucepan and bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until creamy.
Step 2: Meanwhile, heat a fry-pan over medium heat and add coconut oil and honey. Once hot, add the sliced banana and cook over high heat for 2-3 minutes or until golden and caramelised.
Step 3: Serve porridge with caramelised bananas and sprinkle with sea salt.
